Artistic Mission Statement

“My calling is for people over production”
I am a holistic storyteller, called to engage in the arts for the purpose of revealing more truth to the world. My vocation is shaped by an obsession with the art of story. My love for people and my love for art amalgamates to a drive towards the theatrical arts.
I prioritize telling stories of humanity’s need for a savior. Woven with compassion, they inspire questions that help audiences to be more considerate and intentional people. My art is known for its whimsical air that explores the world through the open compassion of a child.
I long for my art to inspire meaningful conversations. I want people to consider why they live. Who do they live for? Do they need a savior? I want them to consider approaching their lives with curiosity, empathy, trust and love.
As a child of the great storyteller I enter into this industry knowing that I am fully known, loved, and equipped for his calling. I will not reject where the Holy Spirit leads me. My purpose is greater than a cast list, and my calling is for people over production. God will open the doors he needs me to walk through, I choose to be intentional in walking. Set apart for a greater mission, I delight in and live for the Lord.

Praise for Emma: “What can I say about Emma? That girl can act! I’d watch her read the phone book. The character was funny, sharp-witted, clever, a teensy bit self-centered, and tender all wrapped up in one. Her facial expressions, hand gestures, and energy were so expressive. The way she flashed her eyes nailed the humor of the dialogue. Perfect.” – Rev. Dr. Scott Stiegemeyer, M.Div., D.Bioethics Associate Professor of Theology and Bioethics
Praise for Willy Wonka: “{Willy Wonka was} a beautiful collaboration of artists of all abilities, the culmination of a 3-week musical theatre intensive camp. Adult Ensemble members Camille Beeson and Drew Frieders did a superb job leading the Ensemble and creating beautiful magic onstage.” –Zach Wetzel, BroadwayWorld.com
